I’ve been working on weak comp. and have several problems; I need help. The system is a ( 133Mhz, 40Meg, 2.1 Gig) with Win 98 and too many new high performance req. and large mem. req.. The harddrive is way loaded about 1.8 gigs full and runs real slow.
The problems are multi-symptom & logic says about get a new system or upgrade heavily. I need to know the answer to (3) questions in one.
The start and task bar blink wildly when migrating info to a organizer, locks up and Ctrl/Alt/Del works sometimes/not. Also it freezes on the net and gets disconnected frequently. IT ALSO AUTOMATICALLY SHUTS DOWN AND THE RESTARTS-when on the net. Next I get clear antivirus scans but still get illegal operations, errors, and win. needs to close-also registry and something is writing to windows???
??? ON NET MY POINTER TURNS INTO A “FURRY BLACK BOX-It moves but is inoperable wont close sites, tools, anything. I have to manually restart.??? Last “WHAT IS IN THE WINDOWS ICON..”UNWISE””?HELP & THANKS
