After reinstalling the software a window pops up saying:
Deleting c:\cabs

This happens everytime including when I reinstall Windows.

Is this anything wrong??????

Thank you for your attention

Message after reinstalling software.

Yes.....something is wrong! It's a Packard Bell, so this is the scoop. PB master restore software does a custom installation of all the pre-installed software on the hard disk from the Master Restore CD or hidden sector on the hard disk if you have one of those monstrosities. What has happened (and this is pretty typical) is that there is an error in one of the Packard Bell installation batch files, and the script is still executing on reboot, even if the machine is finished setting up. Run sysedit and look for strange commands in the win.ini file and autoexec.bat files. There may even be an entry in the startup folder or in the HKEY_Local_machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run section of the registry. It may take a little looking for but you should be able to spot it.
