Message error

During scanning process (Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition) an error " Scan stopped by user" appear everytime i started scanning my computer. What shall I do? Thanks

Do an On-Line Scan

More than likely, you have a virus that is causing that error.

Most of the A/V vendors offer free on-line scanners like Symantec and Trend Micro.

using AVG (http://tinyurl.com/fky54) or your own anti-virus program, with the latest virus definitions, try to perform a full system scan in Safe Mode (not Safe Mode with Networking). You can also use McAfee Stinger (http://tinyurl.com/1x4v).

I would also use this tool: RootKitRevealer (http://tinyurl.com/y3hgq9)
or AVG's free RootKit detector and Remover: (http://tinyurl.com/35jq2t)

TrendMicro has always been my favorite source for virus information and removal.
