Message when working on Mac book Pro (OS Catalina)
I have a Mac Book Pro. (Mid 2012. Upgraded with 16 GB RAM, an SSD 240 GB as a startup/program disk, and 1 TB HD in the optical drive.) After upgrading to OS Catalina I often get this message, and the program quits: “The system has run out of program memory. Quit all programs in use, to avoid problems with the computer”. There is over 140 GB left, both on the SSD and the HD, and I cannot find any “heavy” programs. Anyone who can give me some advise? (I am considering downgrading to OS Mojave… that did not cause any problems).
