Folks,
Here is the problem. A few people recently have had large blocks of messages disappear from their inbox.
I know how that sounds, but usually when I get this kind of complaint I find a moved folder, or a folder in deleted items, or they’re not on the network, or something like that.
In this case, the messages do seem to be going into thin air, and I can’t find them anywhere.
This has happened to two people in two days, and I’m afraid there are more people who will have this problem in the future.
I checked the KB and could not find anything remotely related to this problem.
We are running Outlook 2K on Windows 98, against Exchange 5.5/SP3 on an NT 4 server.
Has anyone run into this sort of thing before?
