How do I make Outlook 2000 autosend an e-mail after I have clicked the send button on the message window, instead of just leaving it in the outbox until I manually send and recieve messages?

What version of Outlook. Click Help>About Microsoft Outlook. What does it say on the second line? The previous answer shoud work ? Click on Tools>Options and choose the Mail Delivery tab.
If you are on-line to the Exchange server, your send button is supposed to immediately send. It is possible that your client is set up for remote use.
To check this, click Tools/Services/Delivery(tab). In the lower window, you should see:Microsoft Exchange Transport Microsoft Exchange Remote Transport
Make sure that the first one is highlighted, and click OK.
