Michigan and Florida broke party rules, Democratic party re-writes rules to accommodate? Does this work to bring the party together or tear it further apart?
I have been wondering for a while if the voter turnout will be a record low this time around or not.
Why? I know many are not pleased with McCain, and may either vote Dem or Independent, or not vote at all, because of disagreements with his policies, such as on immigration.
Dems? With as divided as that party as become, will the supporters of whoever loses step up and accept the winner?
If Hilary gets it, it will be via super delegates, and despite being completely within party rules, will be seen as going against the will of the people and racist.
If Barak gets it, it will be seen as a slam against women (by many). An example here, and while she is VERY worked up, from talking to Hilary supporters, this is a common feeling.

Me? I am looking for a good third party candidate to send my symbolic vote to. If we get enough people to do that, then maybe [i](just maybe)[/i] the big two will start listening to “we, the people” again?
