Micro Bomb Tested

About 6 weeks ago, there was a small news item with a short video clip on BBC World News about a new invention where a micro bomb was tested. When droped from a plane, it destroys all the IT related equipment chips within the radius of about 50 Kms., or so without any human loss. This means, all the computers in the area will go dead. I tried to get more information on this Micro Bomb. Any of our other members saw this news item and have any information available on the net? I personally saw this item on BBC world news so I believe. I tried to browse on the net in search of Micro bomb but I could not get anything. Please post any info you all may have please?
