Microphone Only Picking Up Output Sounds (Desktop Audio)

Hello I’ve been stuck on trying to fix my mic for about 4 days I have tried everything from other posts or videos, reinstalling RealTek drivers, messing around within the audio manager and microphone settings, swapping default devices etc… yet nothing seems to work I’m all out of ideas. I have no idea what else to try other than factory resetting my computer but I’d like to try and avoid that. For some info if the title didn’t provide enough my microphone is only picking up output audio such as music playing through Spotify or YouTube videos. Thank you for any help you can provide.
