Microsoft Access export to HTML

By ewlentz ·
I have created a report in Access where one of the columns points to a Bitmap image so where the image appears in the report rather that the text data. All works fine in the report. I am having trouble exporting the report to HTML where the image is not showing up. Everything else in the report shows up but this column with the images. What is the best way for me to ge this image there.

I am using Access as a back end to a page in my website. The website is a directory in which each listing has a rating system that corresponds to a particular image. For example, a rating of "good" = a happy face image.

Images stored in an OLE Object do not export to an HTML web page.

The only way I know how to get it out of the database is to write your pages in ASP and use VBscript or Jscript to open the data base and pull your data that way. You would hve to pull the image out of the record binarily and then rebuild it on the fly on the web page.

Or convert the Access db to a SQL server.

Try .gif file

For your images, try pointing to .gif files that are stored in the root folder of the website. That way there should be no path issues.
