Here is my scenario and problem. I appreciate any help.
I have my server (Microsoft Small Business Server 2003) setup at home and I am protected by SonicWall. I have Microsoft Access 2003 setup on all the computers for my business. Currently I have an Access database (MDB) located on my server that also contains a User Interface (MDE).
I need one of my workers to be able to access this database from home (Windows XP) so I have SonicWall Global VPN setup. Everything is working properly. She connects to the VPN, can see the database and the files needed. I had her map the network drive to the specified folder. When she tries to open the MDE file, a popup comes up and says "Path is Invalid". Of course I thought there was a linking problem and tried linking the tables to the MDB file with no success. I can't figure out for the life of me what to do.
My current and inefficient way to access the database is to have her use GoToMyPC to remote into a computer connected to the server's switch and everything works.
I really need a better solution.
THANK YOU

First setup that user on Small Business Server 2003 and Make sure she has rights to the Directory where the Database is located
Second Map the drive on your your Worker's Computer.(this is where the database is located)Go to My Computer >>> Tools >>> Map Network Drive.... For example: \\NameofServer\AccessDatabaseDirectory\

Microsoft Access "Path is Invalid" over SonicWall Global VPN
