Microsoft Access Temp File

by pokey119 . Updated 25 years, 4 months ago

Hey guys,
I have what seems like a simple question. I maintain a Microsoft Access database on my Win95 computer. Actually, the data is extracted monthly from an Informix database. While extracting this data, a temp file is created in my c:windows\temp directory. This file tends to get large(over 150 megs). I don’t have enough room on my c: drive to accomodate this file. Is there a way to redirect the temp file created by access to be saved on another drive where there is more space? Thanks.

JT
