I am running Microsoft XP on a laptop with 512mb ram and 250gb hard drive. When I boot the computer my desktop does not appear. A black screen with this message displays;”Sorry for the inconvenience Microsoft can not load at this time. I’m not able to get rid of this screen to start my computer normally. I have tried to use safe mode with no success. I am not able to use the recovery mode to the latest good installation because I can not get to the start button to procede to system tools.
Any help will be appreciated.
