Microsoft CRM 3.0 doesn’t detects IIS

by branzov . Updated 18 years, 10 months ago

Hi,

I have a big problem with Microsoft CRM 3.0

The case:

I’m trying to install Microsoft CRM 3.0 over brand new instalation of Windows Server 2003 R2 Standart x64. I have installed all updates of Windows. The computer is a sole DC in a brand new domain. I have installed IIS 6.0, and verified that web server is working. I have installed MSSQL 2005 and configured Reporting Services. There is Exchange 2007 installed – it is not configured yet, but i don’t think that this is an issue.

The problem is: when I try to install CRM 3.0, the system checker doesn’t detects IIS. The error message is: “Internet Information services (IIS) version 5 or later is not installed”. So the setup cannot continue 🙁

All of the software packages come from Microsoft Action Pack and are properly licensed.

If you have any suggestions – please help, and thanks in advance!
