I have recently been confronted with the following problem: When I try to connect to the Internet (via a modem connection, with Win98) I receive an error message saying that the Microsoft Dial-Up Adapter is either not installed or installed incorrectly.
The modem dials properly, but the problem occurs before the connection is established.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the MS Dial-Up Adapter from the Win98 CD, but he problem still exists.
Any ideas?
