Microsoft Document Imaging

By cadonn ·
Hello. I have scanned 3 pages and saved as tiff - but when I try to select
text, I can only select text from the first page and not from the second or
the third? Is there a way to do this with document imaging? If this is not
the correct newsgroup to post my question, could someone please direct me.

Thank you.

I think you need to run OCR on the whole document

That is, all 3 tif files, or each page of a multipage tif.

Document Imaging - Still cannot select text on other pages

by cadonn In reply to I think you need to run O ...

Thank you very much. While this works for the first page - I cannot select text from the second or third page. It looks like I can only select text from one page at a time. Once I select the text, I get a red outline box and only the text within that box can be copied. This is going to be a long process when I have 20 or 30 pages and have to select text one page at a time.

Any other suggestions would be most welcome.

Thank you.
