Microsoft documents resizing automatically with projector

I connect my Dell latitude d620 to a sharp projector and when I open any microsoft document it will zoom to the largest size possible. Does anyone know how to counter this. I have downloaded the latest video driver and it does not help.

Same issue. Dell D820. Display automatically zooms whenever I connect to projector (epson, dell, sharp, etc.)

I was experiencing the same issue with a Dell Latitude D620 laptop. I ferreted out the apparent solution tonight: Microsoft IntelliType v5.5 is misbehaving. Uninstall that to fix the issue. (You can also try disabling the “zoom slider” in Control Panel->Keyboard.)
