We are trying to get the Microsoft firewall to function with the Network Load balance service. This is for a group of Windows 2003R2 terminal servers. We also have a session manager, but its not running the NLB service. After looking at the firewall logs it seems the NLB service communicates on a number of different ports as clients try to access the terminal servers. What we are seeing is an immediate rejection of the client as it try?s to connect. Does anybody know what ports the NLB service uses as it communicates with the client and the other servers involved in the NLB setup?
