Microsoft Office for Linux

By shaundyc ·
Hello Gurus,

Is there a way to install Office 2000 on a redhat 9 machine. Im on my way to learning Linux and hopes to use office 2000 on it. Im on self-studying but plans to enroll the next 2-3 months on linux courses, but want to first take a look at it.

Hoping someone can do help me..

Thanks in advance

i don't know of a way to run windows apps like office in linux but have you checked out free OpenOffice. there is a for pay version: star office. full featured office clone, lacks mostly the wizards and help. can open all office documents. get it from www.openoffice.org
