By Instigator ·
My problem is that my Microsoft Outlook program will not load at all. I have tried uninstalling office 2000
and reinstalling a couple of times already but the problem persists. I have also run a complete virus scan. The system has a Duron 750, 128MBram,Tyan motherboard, ATi Rage Fury Pro 32MB,
and an Aopen sound card.Any help would be appreciated.

Some additional info would help. What OS are you running? Did you have an older version of Outlook on your system before? Many times s/w installs go wrong due to inaccurate entries in the system registry. Always do a reboot before and after you perform an install.

I think you should check whether you have installed Outlook or not. You can go into Control Panel -> Add/Remove Program. If Microsoft Outlook is in the list, that means it is really installed.

Then, you could find out Outlook folder or the exe file. In general, the folder should be under c:\program files\Outlook... . If you can find out the exe file, try to double click it to run the program.

If Outlook has not be installed in your PC, you can install it (maybe you can try "Custom" when running setup program)

Good luck!
