Microsoft Paint

I have a Dell Dimension 733 runing Win2k. I cannot open mspaint. It says, “mspaint.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program”. This happens every time I try. I ran SFC /scannow. With Win98 you could go into Add/Remove Windows components and install/uninstall it. However, with Win2k that is not an option. Any ideas how I can fix it (short of reinstalling Win2k)?
