Microsoft Peer Web Services

By youngturk ·
I have a machine running NT4.0 Workstation. I installed Microsoft Peer Web Services, and everything went well. Now I would like to uninstalled it. I tried to remove it from the services tab in Network Neighbourhood but it is still there. I also tried to remove it from control panel Add/Remove Programs, and it is still there, even after rebooting. I also got some ODBC errors on startup as well. What gives? I am hoping uninstalling will get rid of the ODBC errors, If I can.

Thank you
youngturk

Microsoft Peer Web Services

by jayen In reply to Microsoft Peer Web Servic ...

Dear Friend,

I had the same problem, I did this thing, and I hope it will work for u.

" U take windows nt option pack CD, or the cd from where u installed microsoft peer web services, RUN SETUP.EXE, it will search for installation, then it will give three option, * re-install * remove or uninstall.

U choose Uninstallation, and if possible apply service pack 4 for NT.

I am sure you will be out of all errors.

Your's sincerly
Jayen
