I am encountering a series of errors on several PCs withing our organization. When trying to open .jpg pictures, both from the hard drive and as e-mail attachments, I get the following errors from Microsoft Photo Editor…
Message 1 – “No file format information can be found in the Registry”
Message 2 – “Unknown file format”
Message 3 – “Photo Editor cannot find or open c:\…\olk7a\filename.jpg”
The machine is a Gateway 1600
Pentium III 933 mhz
256 MG RAM
Windows 2000
Microsoft Office 2000 Professional (Microsoft Outlook 2000)
