I’m running Win2K v5 Pro in an NT server environment. Our network admin has told me that whenever I use a dial-up connection off-site, I have to drag the mspclnt folder out of the “C” directory to my desktop, in order to be able to use email or surf the net. Then when I connect locally to my LAN, I have to move the folder back to C. Never had to do this before, but this is the first W2K system I’ve used. Is this a local security issue, or can we do something to eliminate this activity?
