Microsoft support Windows 2k platform

Someone told me that they read somewhere, that Microsoft will not support Windows 2k after March. And that windows XP professional will a server. My Questions are:
Will Microsoft’s Windows XP Professional become a server as well as a workstation ? and Will Microsoft continue to support Windows 2000 Platform? ….
