Microsoft update quandary

I am trying to download the vaunted service pack 2 for microsoft office 2003.I keep getting Error Code: 0x517.I have checked and rechecked every possible facet of my system and find nothing amiss.All other updates proceeded without incident…anybody else having a similar or problem?Anybody have a solution?
