After installing bunch of updates on 12/11/08 my Microsoft Updates Client has stopped working. After I click Windows Updates button a window pops up for a split second and disappears. Checked for malware and viruses in normal mode and in safe mode nothing. Unregistered and registered back DLLs. Reinstalled stanalone WU Client from Microsoft site still the same. When I go to windowsupdate.com site it shows me a message that I should use a WU in Control Panel.Same result. Any thoughts from smart people?
