Microsoft Virtual Machine

MS has stopped making it’s VM available for XP users as of July 10, 2002 due to squabble w/ Sun. Is there another VM that can do the same job and work well with XP? I can’t get an encrypted e-mail address w/o a functional VM. Help appreciated.
