Trying to get a PC running Microsoft Vista Home to connect via the Network Mapping to a Mac XServe which holds all project files.
I have put the accurate path and I know the PC can “see” the XServe.
Issue is when I place the user name and password to access the Xserve, the log in screen user name inadvertently changes to the name of the computer name/Xserve user name. And I cannot get a password that gets me through this log in screen.
