    Microsofts newest update

    by zlitocook ·

    To fix the DNS problem.
Microsoft has with the latest update caused Zone Alarm to stop your internet connection. It may also cause a third party email provider to stop working unless you disable Nortons antivirus. You can stop Zone Alarm and access the web and disable Norton to get you email nether is a good idea. But it works.

The update from MS is to stop the DNS spoofing that could let hackers redicrect users to a server they control. One work around is to remove the update MS installs KB951748.

    This is from Zone Alarm

We are investigating the issue with the MS update KB951748. For the time being we suggest you uninstall KB951748 until the issue has been resolved. We will post when we have more information Best regards, Forum Moderator
