MICROSOFT'S VIRTUAL PC 2007

By fred.dennick ·
THIS SEEMS LIKE IT MIGHT BE USEFUL SOFTWARE FOR ME, BUT SO FAR, I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DETERMINE WHETHER, OR NOT, YOU CAN ACTUALLY HAVE A VIRTUAL MACHINE WITH A 64-BIT OPERATING SYSTEM WHILE HAVING A 32-BIT OS ON THE REAL MACHINE. WHEN I TRY TO SET THIS UP AFTER INSTALLING THE 32-BIT VERSION OF VIRTUAL PC, AND THEN TRY TO INSTALL VISTA BUSINESS 64-BIT ON THE VIRTUAL MACHINE/HARD DISK I HAVE CREATED, I GET AN ERROR MESSAGE. THE MESSGAE SAYS THAT THIS MACHINE DOES NOT SUPPORT 64-BIT ARCHITECTURE. WELL, THE MACHINE DOES, I ACTUALLY HAVE DUAL OPERATING SYSTEMS ON THIS MACHINE 32/64- BIT VISTA BUSINESS. SO I SUSPICION THAT THIS IS BACAUSE "VIRTUAL PC" DOES NOT SUPPORT DUAL PROCESSORS. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS?

That's the distance you'd have to move your pinky in order to not sound like an idiot. I know the burden of pressing shift to capitalize is a great one, but c'mon fred, you can do better than that. I used to type posts in caps like yours, but then I decided that I didn't want a job mixing concrete.
