I am 34 yrs old B.Sc graduate from Calcutta,India.I have done my MBA(marketing) from Sikkim Manipal University in distance mode.I have 5 years pharma sales experience as Medical representative but I left it last year.I am totally disgusted with sales.Now I want to get into IT. I have also done a PHP MySQL(covering CSS,basic Javascript,HTML)web development course but not learnt much.I cant program independently but have developed interest in the field.But the pay is very less in PHP. 2ndly I am thinking of a SAS career.I see most people working in clinical research or pharma research field.I am more interested in other fields,But does SAS hold hold any future? Will it be a right choice? Or should i go for CCNA or networking?or Dot Net?Problem is I dont have any Computer Science degrees or a MCA(Master in Computer Applications) or a B.Tech.
I want to go abroad. Which have this fields has future prospects?
There are so many fields but in India age is a constraint!! My father wasted 25k in a SAP course from Futuresoft(kolkata). So pls dont advice me SAP as I couldn’t get anything out of it. I cant do a regular B.Tech or MCA with young guys n gals at this age. Add to this my loneliness & I am still a bachelor guy and I want to settle fast.All my peers are married and settled. I feel so depressed at times!!
Pls advice me what are the other options before me & which one should I choose?I am totally confused and feel like I am ruined.
