I just got a new sound card, Thundersound Quad 768, just a normal 3dsound pci card installed on a 900mhz AMD with win98. Well my problem is that in certain programs I get a delay between the time I press the key on the keyboard and the time my program makes a sound. I’ve had this problem before, but it was easily fixable, this won’t go away. I’ve already checked to make sure that no other drivers are installed that shouldn’t be, there are no conflicts at all. The programs giving me the worst problems are Cubase 32VST, FruityLoops, and occasionally Logic Audio.
