I have Sound Blaster Live 5.1 runnig on windows 2000 and am having problems MIDI. Im using the latest driver for the sound card but when I hook a drum machine (Akai MPC2000) to the midi ports the computer freezes and I must turn it off. Are there any particular midi settings I have to tweak if yes what are they, the software I use to sequence the drum machine is Cuebase VST.
