Hi, I have a problem regarding the migration of DHCP scopes between child domains. I have migrated the scopes to an alternate DHCP server which is currently operational but is not in the same site. The domain from which I am migrating currently has no active user or computer objects. The DHCP helper addresses have been configured. The range is split accross two dhcp servers. A primary and a secondary is configured for redundency. If I stop the dhcp server service on the primary dhcp server and try to renew the address on a client it fails.
Network engineers say that all is configured correctly on the distribution switches(Cisco)
Any ideas on how to go about troubleshooting?
