Migrating linux mail to Exchange 2003

By ron_esg ·
I am setting up an Exchange 2003 to replace our current linux-based email server. One option to move mails from linux to exchange is to use the migration wizard. However, to do that I will need to know all the users passwords (which the director will obviously not give). Are there any other options that does not need to get users password?

Thanks

About the only other choice is to PST the mail out. Then when the users are reconnected to the Exchasnge server you can upload the PST files back to the Exchange DB.

Not pretty but if the director won't help he's going to have to do some work.

Considered that......

Thanks bart777, I have also thought of that but not so easy.

Anyway, I had no choice but to extract the passwords from the AD and so far managed to migrate using migration wizard.
