I have a NT4 network with single domain. I am in the process of switching to win2k server utilizing two new servers. I want to migrate all the user and group information to the new win2k server. What is the best way to go about doing this? Someone posted on MS Technet to install NT4 on a new server then promote to PDC then upgrade the NT server to win2k. This way all the account information is now on the win2k server. Then remove the NT4 servers. Is this the best way to go about doing this? It would seem that there would be a better way.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
