Hi here's my problem, We presently run windows 2000 the dns domain name inside is abcd.2000. So this is not a valid name, you cannot have just number beetween 2 period. So I want to make a clean installation of windows 2003 but I don't want to retype all the users names groups and join the workstation to the new domain...??

I need your help can I make a trust and move the users ????

You can use the ADMT (Active Directory Migration Tool) to move things like user, group and computer accounts from one domain to another. You can download the tool, and get lots of documentation, from the following URL: (remove any spaces)

Even though it says it's for Windows 2000, this will also work for Windows 2003.
