Ministry needs power supply & motherboard tested for FREE

by send_email_re-anythingitrelated . Updated 18 years, 9 months ago

A power outage has temporarily rendered my desktop useless. I was using an lower model APC UPS, while at stage 4 of 5 of the Scandisk utility, when the battery died. I don’t have a POST card, or the experience in troubleshooting this type of problem. The POST only begins memory testing when it freezes; the very first stage of the POST. Among other things, I use this pc for ministry work, (the creation & maintenance of bethemunah.org, and videos for the SouthWest MJAA Conferences, and documents used in the Family Law Court, to fight to stay in my 10 yr.-old daughter’s life as much as possible, which is a never-ending battle, which is partly why I live at the poverty level & can not afford to pay a technician. The local shop wants $90, just for the diagnostic. Can anyone help me? I am in Oxnard, California, but drive to and from Anaheim to see my daughter, a distance of 100 miles, so anyone along the way, might be able to help as well.
Specs: 3Win XP SP2, 512MB RAM, Compaq Presario SR1030NX.
