Minor formatting question re:justification in Word 2007.

By LuDuffy ·
I have a small but irritating formatting problem. When formatting paragraphs to 'justify' sometimes the last line in the paragraph is just a couple of words. These words get spaced out so dramatically that it looks awful. How can I change this? I am new to this forum and I am not sure if this question is appropriate, so please indulge me.

The last line of a paragraph should usually not be stretched to the full width of the line.

However, this may happen if you instead of enter (new paragraph) hit shift+enter (line break). If you still want to use line break together with justified text, I suggest hitting tab once before shift+enter.

(Or, my preferred approach: I avoid justified text, don't like it, but sometimes you don't have any choice.)
