MinWin for Vista?

Do you think that there will be some way to install the MinWin kernel for Vista? I dont want to upgrade to 7, but I want a small Vista. Is there SOMETHING that I can do?

Thanks!

it is called vLite and it can be used to strip down Vista.

But does vLite actually touch the 4GB kernel? Or just the software? I will try vLite regardless of what it does, but I am simply wondering if it shrinks the kernel in any way. Because thats what I want. To shrink the kernel.

as there may be some confusion here. vLite will allow you to remove components and virtually reduce the size of the overall install. I don't know how or if it is even possible to shrink the kernel as it is made up of many components. Its beyond my capabilites.
