I’m working on a computer in which the OS resides on two drives in a mirrored array. The Promise raid utility says the array is “functional” and yet after it starts to boot, the system restarts almost immediately.
Working on it has proven challenging. Last Known Config and safe mode all result in a restart.
Booting from a disk, be it an XP install disc or a recovery tools disc, has resulted in the drive not being visible (even after loading the raid drivers via a floppy disc).
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
