Mispronunciations that drive me crazy

I am always irritated when normally literate people pronounce jewelry as jewlery or realtor as realetor. Gets me every time.

two software dictionaries, a foot breaking Webster's, a Collins, a Readers Digest, a Macquarie, and the Pictorial Dictionary of the British Empire - all of which say jewellery.

someone added the wrong spelling as a joke, ha ha.

I remember years ago there was a virus that would attack your speel cheekers. It would change certain words into four letter words....

When are you going to learn that the dictionary is only a starting point.

Check out a specifically US dictionary and you find that this is one of the many words that is spelt (spelled) differently over there.
