Vaio laptop VGN-FZ220E with OEM Vista Home Premium purchased 11-09. Ran update driver software, now upon boot, black screen with message in boot manager “need to install original disc (have none)and click on “repair” because of missing file ntoskrn1.exe. Can’t get to Safe Mode for “Restore”. Spoke to Sony, had to purshase a Recovery Disc (on its way). Do you agree, advise ?
