    Missing Comm Ports

    One of our guys reimaged his Inspiron B130 and now all of the comm ports are missing. I checked the bios, and it apprears that all are enabled to work. What am I missing? How do I get the wan card and the ethernet port to appear and work again?

      The COM ports have nothing to do with the Ethernet card. COM ports are COM1, COM2, etc…, listed in the device manager as PORTS. Your WAN (Ethernet) card should be listed under NETWORK ADAPTERS.

      So, what do you see under Network Adapters?

      And, what operating system is this on?
