When using Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2, I have no context menu when I right click with my mouse. This problem is isolated to IE, as I’m able to access the context menus in Netscape and other Windows-based programs. I am running Windows ME and have anIntellimouse Explorer Mouse. I have uninstalled and reinstalled IE, and have reinstalled the mouse. I recently re-installed Windows ME due to an MSHTML problem (which was causing the system to crash when multiple windows were open – this problem no longer exists). It should be noted that this is a PC that’s approximately 1 month old (Pentium 3 with 1 G processor). I have installed many programs on it, so re-formatting is not a viable option. I’ve also run Norton diagnostics on the system, and there don’t appear to be any registry problems. I’ve also added some components to the machine and swapped out others, so returning it to the manufacturer is not a good option either.
