I have one server hosting Exchange 2000 SP1. My other server hosts Mail Essentials – scanning and virus checking. Outbound mail travels from the Exchange server to the Mail Essentials server and then out to the Internet. Some e-mails are leaving the Exchange queue and then vanishing before reaching the other server. Other mail goes fine. Any help with this is appreciated.
