At my company I have a problem with the network printer for occasionally I get the message that I?m not connected to it.
When that happens I restart my comp. and then I print whatever I have to regularly. Today I have made some changes in an Excelfile ? a research I?ve been working on for months, so I wanted to print the page I have changed. Again I got the message that I?m not connected to the network printer so I?ve restarted my comp. And when I tried to open the excel file, I have a desktop shortcut for it, I got the message that comp. couldn?t find the file. Then I have opened the folder that file has been placed into and SHOCK! The file wasn?t there! I looked everywhere for it, recycle bin, temp folder, find files and folders option, some of my colleagues tried to help me, one of them is a professional but nothing… I just can not believe that I have lost the file I?ve been working for months on. Please help!!
