Missing Microsoft VM

Microsoft VM is missing from Windows XP Pro.
Where can I download Microsoft VM? I Could try
reloading XP, but I am not sure how many files,
data or programs would be lost. I have tried
Microsoft web site with no luck. I would appreciate any help.
