Missing MSN Search

I am using Win ME with IE6 on my current system
The problem is when clicking on the Search icon I cannot use MSN search,I get GO TO search pane in panel on the left side when it opens
I would prefer to use MSN search column,yet when I click on thecustomize button and the pane opens ,MSN is not listed in column to select as a choice
Has anyone seen this before or have a solution on how to get MSN search reset.
